Isuzu's History

Isuzu was founded in 1937 and is based in Tokyo Japan. They are the world's largest maker of medium to heavy duty trucks. They have also produced over 21 million diesel engines during their history. They stopped producing small autos in the 1990s after sales fell. Toyota and Mitsubishi both have large stakes in the company and are two of the three largest share holders.
